Multilingual Publishing

In addition to English, we accept submissions in multiple languages, starting with Bengali, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. Authors can choose to submit their article in one of these regional languages, with the option for the full article or abstract to be translated into English. Alternatively, authors may submit their article in English and choose to have the abstract or full article translated into one of the regional languages. The journal will ensure that abstracts are available in both English and the article's original language to promote accessibility and respect linguistic diversity. We also aim to expand the supported languages in the future.

Open Access

All articles are published under open-access licenses, ensuring authors retain permanent ownership of their work while providing free and unrestricted access to scholarly contributions. We firmly believe that knowledge should be a public good, accessible to all regardless of geographical, financial or institutional barriers. By default, our journal publishes all content under a CC-BY-ND license; however, authors may opt for a more permissive license, such as CC-BY or CC0, if they prefer. Authors are not required to seek permission from the journal to reuse their work in any form. Additionally, authors are encouraged to deposit a copy of their article in an institutional repository whenever possible, to further enhance accessibility and dissemination.

Peer Review

We uphold a transparent, double-blind peer-review process designed to facilitate constructive feedback. Our reviewers are expected to provide inclusive, respectful, and culturally aware critiques, aligning with our mission of diversity and inclusion. We strive to have a diverse panel of reviewers across different regions, languages, and cultural backgrounds to provide perspectives aligned with our policies of equity and access.

We appreciate our peer reviewers, acknowledging that their expertise and dedication are foundational to the integrity of our journal. To recognize their contributions, we provide certificates of appreciation upon request for use in tenure files and other applications. Additionally, we invite peer reviewers to participate in appreciation events and discussions during Digital Humanities events organized at IIT Indore.

FAIR Principles

To enhance the discoverability and utility of research, the journal ensures that all published articles are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). We adhere to metadata standards and advocate for interoperability and reusability across digital platforms, ensuring the long-term accessibility of the published content.

Funding and Fees

We operate on a no-fee submission and publication model. There are no charges for authors at any stage of the publication process.
