Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The manuscript adheres to the word limits specified for its category.
- The submission is formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style (Author-Date format).

Any figures, tables, or multimedia elements are properly cited and formatted.
- The document is anonymized for double-blind peer review (no identifying information in the manuscript).
- A separate title page includes the author(s)’ name, affiliation, and contact details.
- The manuscript is submitted in Word (.docx) format.
- Supplementary materials (images, tables, datasets, multimedia elements, etc.) should be submitted as a separate ZIP folder. Ensure that all files are properly labeled and referenced within the main manuscript.
- Permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted materials included in the submission.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors retain the copyright of their work upon publication in Digital Humanities Intersections. All content is published under a Creative Commons license — CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, allowing sharing and distribution with proper attribution, provided it is not used for commercial purposes or modified without authorization.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that any data, images, or supplementary materials included in their submissions comply with ethical and legal standards, including copyright, privacy, and data protection regulations. Where applicable, datasets should be openly accessible and properly cited. If restrictions apply, authors must clearly indicate the terms of data availability in their submission.
By submitting to the journal, authors confirm that their work is original, does not infringe upon third-party rights, and has not been published or submitted elsewhere. The journal reserves the right to disseminate published content in print, digital, and archival formats for scholarly and educational purposes.
